Plot

Christine Painter, a struggling waitress, transforms her suburban home into a brothel to boost her earnings, inspired by the true story of Cynthia Payne. With the support of her friend Shirley, a seasoned prostitute, and the flamboyant cross-dresser Wing Commander Morten, Christine attracts a clientele of older men, including judges and generals. She views her business as a necessary service for her eccentric patrons. However, when law enforcement catches up with her, the ensuing court case reveals surprising connections, as the presiding judge has his own history with her unconventional services.
