Plot

Peter von Kant, a renowned film director, shares a tumultuous relationship with his assistant, Karl, whom he often belittles. His life takes a turn when he encounters the talented actress Sidonie and subsequently falls for Amir, a charming young man from humble beginnings. Peter invites Amir to live with him, promising to help him navigate the film industry. As Amir rises to stardom, their romance blossoms, but the newfound fame leads him to end the relationship, leaving Peter alone to confront the emotional fallout of his actions and the emptiness within.
