Plot
In "Poetic Justice," hairdresser Justice struggles to cope with the heartbreak of losing her boyfriend to murder. To express her sorrow, she channels her emotions into poetry. When her car breaks down, she misses a chance to attend a convention in Oakland. Fortunately, her friend Iesha and Iesha's postal worker boyfriend, Chicago, offer her a ride. Accompanying them is Chicago's co-worker, Lucky, with whom Justice initially clashes but gradually forms a bond. As they journey together, Justice must confront her feelings and decide if she can allow love back into her life.
