Inspired by a seminar led by renowned German director Peter Nestler, Prague, March '92 merges a week’s worth of 16mm film captured in the city with passages from Bohumil Hrabal's essay "The Magic Flute." The work reflects on the 20th anniversary of the demonstrations honoring Jan Palach, who set himself on fire in January 1969 to oppose the Soviet invasion. Through evocative imagery and poignant commentary, the film explores themes of resistance and remembrance in a city marked by its turbulent past.
