Plot

Air Force Major Lloyd Gruver finds himself stationed at a Japanese air base, where he grapples with deep-seated racial biases among his fellow soldiers. Tensions rise as several men pursue relationships with Japanese women, directly challenging military regulations. Gruver, known for his strict adherence to protocol, faces a moral dilemma when his friend Joe Kelly falls for Katsumi, a local woman, and decides to marry her.
