Plot

After losing his wife, Professor Kyoichi retreats to a solitary existence by the seaside. A stray cat named Mii, previously cared for by his late spouse, begins to visit him, even stopping at the altar he created in her memory. Initially reluctant, Kyoichi finds himself drawn to Mii and becomes concerned when she goes missing. His search for the feline unexpectedly fosters connections with the local community, unveiling the support and companionship he desperately needs, reminding him that he is not as isolated as he believed.
