Plot

A cantankerous old sailor is determined to complete his dream boat and sail away into the horizon. However, his plans are continually thwarted by meddling local officials and the challenges of a troubled foster child who unexpectedly enters his life. As he navigates these obstacles, the sailor must confront his own resolve and reconsider what truly matters in his twilight years. Each interaction challenges his gruff exterior, ultimately pushing him to find purpose beyond his solitary quest for adventure on the open sea.
