Plot
Ellen McNulty departs her New Jersey hamburger joint for a spontaneous trip to surprise her son and his new wife. Upon arrival, she’s mistaken for the hired help prepping for an extravagant party. Rather than reveal her true identity and risk awkwardness, Ellen decides to embrace the mix-up, setting off a series of humorous and chaotic events. As she navigates her role as a faux maid, misunderstandings abound, testing family bonds and revealing the unexpected complexities of love and acceptance.
