Stanley, an endearing but awkward office worker, has a soft spot for the stunning newcomer, Diana. Despite his affection, he struggles to connect with her. When he finally musters the courage to ask her out, fate intervenes: a chance encounter with a homeless man named Phil results in a car accident that derails their evening.
