Ralph Richardson's captivating Shakespearean performance in a London theater leaves a lasting impression, prompting his dresser, Fred, to request an autograph. Fast forward, and Fred, now a courageous member of the Fleet Air Arm, becomes a hero by saving a pilot from a fiery crash.
