Plot
A quirky family finds themselves holed up in their Kansas farmhouse as a fierce storm approaches. The retired soda mogul heads this unconventional clan, currently romantically linked to a children's TV evangelist. Among the residents are his aimless daughter, her sharp-witted 8-year-old, a struggling artist son, his fiancée, and a devoted black maid. Complicating matters is the daughter's ex-husband, a charming but irresponsible man, eager to win back his former wife's affection. As the tempest looms, tensions rise and secrets unfold within this eccentric household.
