Gene Autry returns to his cowboy roots as an undercover detective in this thrilling Western. Disguised as an inmate, he aims to extract information from a young boy, played by Dick Jones, who is believed to have stolen an Army payroll. When the boy breaks free and links up with his family's traveling medicine show, the stakes rise.
