Fifteen years after the Martians' initial attempt to conquer Earth, a new invasion looms in 1914 as World War I approaches. Mars strikes back with a more formidable assault, leaving Earth vulnerable. The fate of humanity rests on the shoulders of a small defense unit known as A.R.E.S. Tasked with operating the massive battle tripod GOLIATH, a diverse and youthful crew must confront their inner demons and unite to fend off the relentless alien threat.
