Plot

Heera Bhatti, an American-Sikh store owner in Los Angeles, manages her corner shop alongside her son Vikram and their friend Gulu. Heera disapproves of Vikram's relationship with Lillian, a Caucasian woman, wishing instead for him to marry a Punjabi girl. Their lives take a dramatic turn when a shocking incident arises: eight residents succumb to poisoning from tainted tap water, causing chaos and fear throughout California. As the community grapples with the aftermath, personal and cultural tensions surface, challenging Heera and Vikram's family dynamics and beliefs.
