Plot
Divorcee Laura LeCrois returns to her hometown after her father mysteriously disappears, only to find it drastically changed. He’s deep in debt, her ex-boyfriend is now sheriff, and her ex-husband has abandoned his prestigious career to hoard swampland. Seeking to save the family’s struggling boat tour business, Laura leads a sunset tour into the murky depths of the Louisiana swamp. However, the outing takes a dark turn when she and her guests witness a shocking event involving two swamp rats disposing of a body. What emerges from the shadows is a horrifying creature unlike anything Laura has ever encountered.
