Overview
In the desolate Finnish backcountry, police officer Nina Kautsalo stumbles upon a grisly scene: two dead prostitutes and one clinging to life. The investigation spirals as an incredibly rare and lethal virus emerges from the survivor’s blood. The Finnish Bureau of Investigation steps in, enlisting German virologist Thomas Lorenz to help manage the crisis. As they delve deeper into the case, Nina and Thomas must balance the urgency of containing the virus against the threat of an active serial killer.
