Dororo (2019)
A samurai lord sacrifices his newborn son's organs to forty-eight demons, seeking power in battle. Miraculously, the forsaken infant survives, thanks to a medicine man who outfits him with basic yet deadly prosthetics. Determined to retrieve his stolen body parts, the son embarks on a quest to confront the demons and ultimately face his father. Along the way, he crosses paths with an orphan who boasts of being Japan's greatest thief, adding complexity and camaraderie to his perilous journey.
