Hakata Tonkotsu Ramens (2018)
Beneath Fukuoka's seemingly tranquil exterior lies a gritty underworld filled with assassins, detectives, and vengeance-seekers. Zenji Banba, a laid-back detective, is on the trail of various hitman groups when he crosses paths with Xianming Ling, a frustrated crossdressing hitman struggling with job scarcity and inadequate pay. After Ling's target commits suicide before the hit can be executed, his company refuses to compensate him. When tasked with eliminating Banba, Ling surprisingly offers an alliance instead. As their fates intertwine, the duo must navigate the complex dynamics of Fukuoka's criminal landscape.
