On Germany's solitary offshore island, Helgoland, a small group of apocalypse survivors navigates a perilous existence in a chaotic world. Scarcity of resources has led to a brutal social hierarchy, where each inhabitant's worth is measured by their utility. The island's lone doctor enjoys a privileged status, while others struggle to secure their place—and their lives. As mainlanders attempt to breach the island's defenses, tensions rise, forcing the residents to confront both external threats and the moral dilemmas of their harsh survival system. The fight for existence becomes a test of humanity itself.
