Kunato Hyoma harbors deep resentment towards tsukumogami, vengeful spirits that inhabit objects. To confront his anger, he moves in with Nagatsuki Botan, who offers a contrasting perspective on these supernatural entities. Both belong to a clan dedicated to returning spirits to their realm using divine abilities, yet their encounters with these beings have shaped their views differently: Kunato has lost a loved one to a spirit, while Nagatsuki owes her life to one. As they navigate their shared mission, will Botan manage to help Kunato heal and see the spirits in a new light?
