The Penguins of Madagascar (2008)
The Penguins of Madagascar, a CGI animated series on Nickelodeon, brings back fan-favorite characters from the DreamWorks film franchise. Led by the scheming Skipper, the penguins—Kowalski, Private, and Rico—are joined by lemurs King Julien, Maurice, and Mort, as well as the chimps Mason and Phil. New faces include Marlene the otter and zookeeper Alice. Premiering with a pilot episode on November 29, 2008, it officially launched on March 28, 2009, attracting 6.1 million viewers. Set in a parallel universe, the series playfully diverges from the film's timeline while maintaining its quirky charm.
