Dexter Morgan emerges from a coma to discover his son Harrison has mysteriously vanished. Burdened by guilt over their tumultuous relationship, Dexter heads to New York City, intent on finding his son and seeking redemption. However, his journey is complicated when Angel Batista from Miami Metro arrives with probing questions, reminding Dexter that his past is not far behind.
